Without chemical coating

Henlon Jumbo Braid is produced without chemical coating, meaning without the additional surface chemical coating applied to some synthetic fibers to modify their smoothness, shine, or behavior during processing.

This is an important feature for those who prefer a fiber without additional surface treatments, pleasant to the touch, and ready to be worked with.

The absence of chemical coating does not mean that the fiber is chemical-free: Henlon remains a synthetic fiber. It specifically indicates that it does not have an additional chemical coating on its surface.

Caution: Not suitable for Hot Water Setting

Henlon Jumbo Braid is not a low-temperature fiber and does not seal by hot water immersion.

If used for braids, dipping the ends in hot water will not close or set them as it does with fibers specifically designed for Hot Water Setting.

It can, however, be molded with controlled heat tools up to 200°C, always choosing the appropriate temperature and technique for the specific application.
